Limited edition of 15 original prints

There are currently about fifty photographs available as a limited edition of 15 original signed and numbered prints. The photographer guarantees that no further prints will be made beyond the limited edition of 15. However, the artist reserves the right to print other formats of these photos in the context of a gallery or museum exhibition, as this will increase the reputation of the work.
As for any original work, an original photograph bears the hallmark of its author. It is thereby protected by article L111-1 and following articles of the French Code for Intellectual Property Rights as an original work that benefits from copyright protection. The rights of the purchaser are therefore limited to that of private use, excluding all rights of representation and reproduction.

Authenticity of the work

A certificate of authenticity, which will be sent separately by post, accompanies each photograph purchased on the Photo Web Gallery. This will ensure the purchaser that the work is indeed by the artist.

The certificate includes:
  • The name of the artist
  • The title of the work
  • The date of the work
  • The number of the work and total number of the edition
  • The print size
  • The printing technique
  • The type of paper used for the print
  • The signature of the artist confirming all the above information.

Unframed prints are sold with a white border. They are signed and numbered in the bottom border.

Laminated prints are signed and numbered on the reverse.

Addition of further works to the website

The site is under construction, photographs will be continuously added to the existing series and new series will also be added.

Price increases

It is standard practice in the art market that prices increase before the last available prints are sold. As the relationship between supply and demand changes, the value of an edition increases as the number of prints available diminishes.

On the Photo Web Gallery, the price of photographs increases as each third of the limited edition of 15 prints is sold, and your print therefore increases in value.

Example:

  • The first 5 prints are sold for 900 €
  • The next 5 prints for 1200 €
  • The final 5 prints for 1800 €

When all the prints of a particular photograph are sold, the Photo Web Gallery will no longer offer prints for sale online. The only prints available will be the odd print from exhibitions or prints that have been returned. Their price will therefore be greater than that of the prints sold online.

Delivery
Delivery options

Prints ordered online can be collected by the purchaser from the artist's studio 154 rue Oberkampf 75011 Paris, by prior appointment. It is also possible to arrange an appointment to view the print quality of photographs already available.
The photographs are normally dispatched to the purchaser's address or an alternative address, provided on the order form. The delivery method (UPS or La Poste) and the associated costs are charged to the purchaser.

Delivery time

Unless written confirmation is provided, our delivery times are non-contractual. Depending on the availability of the work, the preparation of your order for shipping or collection will take up to 15 working days, from receipt of payment. This timeframe does not include the actual shipping time (which will vary according to shipping method and address).
If the order preparation time is extended due to the work or the frame not being available, the client will be informed by email.

All indicated dates and shipping times are non-contractual and no penalties or compensation can be claimed from the Photo Web Gallery.

Receipt and return

The client must check the goods upon receipt and notify the shipping company of any damage before taking receipt of the order.
This notification must be handwritten on the delivery note and details of the damage sent to the chosen shipping company.
If the consignee refuses receipt of the delivery, they must send written notice to Eric Fayolle, in order for the latter to make a request for compensation from the transporter. The consignee must also retain a copy of such notice.
If the goods are faulty or they do not conform to the order, the purchaser must notify this as soon as possible and no later than five days after receipt of the goods.
The return of goods is subject to a formal agreement between the Photo Web Gallery and the purchaser, which will allow for the replacement of the goods or a credit in favour of the purchaser.
The goods must in all cases be returned in their original packaging.
